October was anti-bullying month and here at Lewisburg Middle School, the students, teachers and administration have taken a stand against bullying. Every day Principal Meadows discussed in the morning announcements how we can all help to reduce and prevent all types of bullying by being an UPSTANDER. An UPSTANDER is someone who recognizes when something is wrong and acts to make it right. We did several things throughout the entire month to stand up against bullying. We had need one, take one/ take one, give one positive notes for students to share with others to lift them up. Students posted positive uplifting tweets on twitter. Students stood in front of the school holding signs to stand up against bullying.

Positive notes were on the doors of each hallway where students could use those notes to help build up themselves or others up.
Even though the month of October is anti-bullying month, Lewisburg Middle School will continue to strive towards being a bully free school.
